Ajina represents the sixth chakra, also known as the Third Eye Chakra, it is located on the forehead, in the center of the eyebrow base.

Its colour is indigo, and it is represented by 96 petals. Since its vibrational movement is very fast, this takes the form of only two large petals.

As an element, it represents light, a font of energy and a symbol of knowledge, vision, which enables us to know and interact with the world.

The third eye represents knowledge and inner wisdom, it opens the door to our psychic faculties and "understanding," visualization and psychic sight.

It is associated with intuition, imagination, wisdom, and the ability to think and make decisions.

An imbalance in this energy can cause vision-related problems, migraines, nightmares, neurosis, stress and mental confusion.

The opening of the third eye would thus allow seeing beyond form, and would be the prerequisite for intuition and clairvoyance. Intuition is a combination of instinct and intellect.

Activating the sixth chakra would allow the awakening of this faculty which inherent in all of us, but often dormant.
