Vishuddha represents the fifth chakra, also called the Throat chakra, it is located at the base of it, and is connected with our ability to communicate and express ourselves. It is the control center of energy and regulates the balance between the physical and spiritual parts.

It is blue,and represents as a lotus flower with sixteen petals.

As an element it represents the airwaves, located on the fifth auric layer, the higher mental body and the sense referred to it is hearing.

It physically controls the throat and neck, arms and hands, and is associated with the brachial or cervical plexus.

This chakra is associated with both aspects of expression, of the ability to receive, and beliefs regarding the manifestation of one's goals. It is also associated with the process of listening to one's intuition and the state of consciousness one experiences when following the flow of this process. Some call it abundance, others call it grace.

It is also the first level of consciousness where one directly experiences a sense of interaction with what is called higher intelligence, and the relationship with space around .

The associated state of consciousness is indeed related to abundance, the ability to imagine it in our lives, and is closely related to the degree to which we allow ourselves to receive.
